Invitation to demonstration and tasting of Shojin Cuisine World, at Uppsala University Campus Gotland (demonstration in English).

The Japanese chef Toshio Tanahashi has lectured at Kyoto University of Art and Design, and Victoria and Albert Museum, published a photographed recipe book as well as been featured in international magazines. He is appointed culinary consultant worldwide.

Tanahashi san shows how a vegetarian menu can be not only estetically pleasing, but also simultaneaously healthy, spiritually satifying, and environmentally friendly. Using only vegetables, fruits, and cereals Tanahashi has transformed the Japanese kitchen, without loosing contact with its Buddhistic roots and century-old traditions. A tasting menu will be prepared for the audience. Limited number of persons.
