Uppsala University Campus Gotland kindly invites organizations involved in the research project “Mapping sustainability initiatives on Gotland”, and other interested actors and stakeholders, to a research presentation and an open discussion about sustainability on Gotland.
The main objectives of the research project, funded by the foundation Sällskapet De Badande Wännerna, has been to find out what kind of sustainability related initiatives that exist on Gotland, and what organizations that are owning them. Also, how the collaboration between these actors is organized and what is possibly missing.
30 in-depth interviews with non-for-profit organizations, businesses, regional authorities, individual projects, as well as representatives of seven Bachelor and Master study programs based at the Campus Gotland have been conducted in August-November 2020. In addition to mapping current community based initiatives related to sustainable development of Gotland, existing forms of collaboration between Uppsala University Campus Gotland study programs and local organizations outside the campus has been analyzed.
This event is part of the Education for Sustainable Development Learning Lab at Uppsala University Campus Gotland.
The event will be held via zoom; we kindly ask you to register your participation here.
