This event lets you take a look behind the scenes of various aspects of sustainability; Academia, Business, NGOs & Public Sector.

As part of our activities we support our community and now it is time to support the Sustainable Management Master students of Uppsala University – Campus Gotland (2020-2021) – we partnered with them to promote this exciting conference organized by them entitled ‘A Career to Sustain – Beyond the Bubble’ which will take place on the 3rd of December from 09:00 to 12:30. Due to the recent increase in restrictions in Sweden, the conference will be held online.

The theme of the conference will be based around careers in sustainability. The structure includes 4 segments of diverse employment areas in the following order:

-Academia,
-Business,
-NGOs and
-Public Sector.

Each segment consists of a guest speaker presentation and a follow-up discussion. The aim of the event is to inspire involvement in sustainable alternatives of a professional future as well as make ideas and examples of practical action in the sustainability field more tangible for the viewers.

We are very pleased that the following speakers have found the time to introduce themselves and their work as well as give us a deeper insight into their efforts around the topic of sustainability:

-Abdullah R. Chowdhury, University Proctor and Director of CEII - Centre for Emotional Intelligence and Innovation, BRAC University, Dhaka, Bangladesh
-Rowan Drury, Founder of Gram Malmo, Swedens first Package-free shop
