Mental Health Week 12 October

Welcome to the Student Health Services' Mental Health Week: 11-15 October, 2021! This week is organised in connection with the annual international Mental Health Day, which is 10 October.

The Student Health Service wants you to feel good while you study. We also know that you may not always feel well and that life as a student can sometimes be challenging in many ways.

CANCELLED: 12:10-12.50: Mindfulness by the sea
Where:
Outside the D building
Join a guided mindfulness by the sea at Visby seaside walk. Meeting place outside house D, the Betty Petterson building. Bring something to sit on and warm clothes. The event can be cancelled in case of rain. Sign up by sending an email to: studenthalsan-cg@uu.se

Due to illness, this event 12 October is cancelled. Hopefully, it will take place another day during Mental Health Week.

Thoughts and feelings are a large part of our human experience. Sometimes they can be overwhelming. Join us to learn some strategies to manage thoughts and feelings in a more functional way.

Mental Health Week is organised to draw attention to the importance of mental health and well-being. During the week, lectures, workshops and activities are offered with the aim of informing, helping, inspiring and illuminating mental health and well-being.
