Activate your student account

To prepare for your future studies at Uppsala University you need to activate your student account. The student account gives you access to the university's networks, printing systems and a variety of other services, and is required to later webregister to your programme.

Current students

If you are a current student at Uppsala University, you will be able to register for courses yourself in Ladok when your course opens for registration, most of our courses opens 22 December but it may differ from course to course. Current student? Welcome back!

New students WITH a Swedish personal identity number

If you are a new student with a Swedish personal identity number, your registration is made in two steps: 

1. Activate your student account
2. Log in and register for course/courses. Once you have registered you will get a confirmation via e-mail within a couple of days.

New student WITHOUT a Swedish personal identity number

If you are a new student without a Swedish personal identity number, you will need a onetime passcode before you can activate your student account. If you are currently in Sweden and at Campus Gotland, you can pick up a onetime passcode at the reception at Campus Gotland to activate your student account.

You may also receive a onetime passcode via post, read instructions more on our page on how to activate your student account.

If you are a current student at Uppsala University and if you have been admitted to one or more of our courses spring semester 2022, you may register for your courses from 23 December. If you have problems to register, please contact Student Services at Campus Gotland.

It is of most importance that you get registered in time in order to not risk losing your place. Please note that different courses may have different periods of registration.
